• hereditary estate • patrimony (HCB: Such estate as has been descended in the same family. Estates which have descended or been devised in a direct line from the father, and by extension, from the other or other ancestor. It has been held that the world is not necessarily restricted to property inherited directly from the father. Patrimony is the total mass of existing or potential rights and liabilities attached to a person for the satisfaction of his economic needs and patrimony is always attached to a natural or juridical person. Patrimony of a debtor (تركة مديون ) is totality of assets and liabilities susceptible of pecuniary evaluation; as practical matter, debtor’s patrimony consists of assets which are subject to execution for benefit of creditor.)
